It’s July 1. We are exactly halfway through 2023 AD. Time sure does fly! Did you make any resolutions this year? Did you resolve to read the Bible? No matter if you did or did not if you’d like to, it’s good to have a plan to guide you. A wise man once said.
Failure to plan, is planning to fail.
-A wise man
Some of us are halfway through our 365-day reading plan. If you are new or want to get started, we invite you to consider opting into the church’s bible reading plan now. You can see the plan at this link: https://www.christianity.com/bible/year/esv/ojan01.htm. We’ll continue adding video and audio commentaries for every day of the project throughout the year.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
-Psalm 16:11
God gave us the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament so that we could know Him and know precisely what He desires for us to do. Our 365-day reading plan has chapters from both the Testaments and you’ll be able to see the pieces of God’s word come together as you study it more and more. I recommend that you pray before you read and ask the Lord to equip you through your study.
Feel called to join a team and serve our church? You can also fill out our church’s ministry interest survey here from our “Resources” page
Did you fall off? Just get started again. Never stop starting. Read the reading from January 1L Genesis 1-3; Matthew 1, or start mid-year on July 1: Job 20-21; Acts 10:24-48.
